上世纪80年代末，在中国大陆还鲜有人出国时，龚庭玉女士业已历尽艰辛走出国门。在海外的学习及工作中，她深刻体会到国与国之间的差距、不理解以及不平等。也就在那时，龚女士心中埋下了“努力促进实现全球一体化”的种子。2002年以后，龚女士的事业中心慢慢放到了国内，并逐步带领中国的央企将其技术、先进的生产力及中国日益崛起的经济实力传播到非洲地区，帮助当地的通讯建设及开展慈善投资。随后范围扩展至中东及南美等地区。在海外进行投资项目的过程中，龚女士还带领国内的许多公益团体、慈善机构及优秀企业的领导人走向国际，帮助其深入对国际的了解以及企业集团的国际化。同时，也促进了海外的科技、宗教、文化等进入中国以及在中国传播，加深了国与国之间的了解与沟通。
In late 1980s, when there was few people going abroad in mainland China, Ms. Gong Tingyu had already gone oversea through all kinds of hardships. She had a deeply-felt about the gap, incomprehension and inequality between the countries during the studying and work abroad. It was also at that time, a seed of "global integration" was planted in her heart. After 2002, Ms. Gong’s career focus has been moving into the domestic gradually. She led the Chinese central enterprises to export their techniques, advanced productive forces as well as brought China's rising economic strengths to the African region, helping the local communication constructions and charity investments. Subsequently, the projects and the investments were extended to some other regions like the Middle East and South America. In the process of overseas investments, Ms. Gong has led many domestic public interest groups, charities and leaders of leading enterprises to the international, helping them have an in-depth understanding of the international and prompting the internationalization of the enterprises. Meanwhile, the foreign sciences and technologies, religions and cultures have been brought into China, and spreading in China, deepening the understanding and communication between countries.
2012年龚庭玉女士被指定为2014国际学生设计大赛（由UN、UNHABITAT和国际关爱组织International Council for Caring Communities主办）的轮值主席。同时，获得UNHABITAT和ICCC的支持，龚庭玉女士将于2015年首次举办国际学生设计大赛中国大区赛及展览。并且，龚庭玉女士还专注于中国养老问题的解决方案及项目。她致力于聚集国际力量，更大力度地帮助解决中国养老问题，无论是在政策制定、养老标准制定，或是因地制宜的方案制定，引进更多的国际养老专家意见及先进经验；帮助中国的养老项目实现更具前瞻性的发展，成为国际化养老项目的风向标。
In 2012, Ms. Gong Tingyu was appointed as the Chair of 2014 International Student Design Competition, which was co-organized by UN, UNHABITAT and International Council for Caring Communities (ICCC). With the full supports of UNHABITAT and ICCC, Ms. Gong is going to organize the first International Student Design Competition-- China Regional Competition and Exhibition in 2015. Meanwhile, Ms. Gong also focuses on the solution of Chinese pension problems and projects. She devotes to gather the international forces to make greater efforts to help solve the pension problems in China, no matter in developing policies, pension standards, or local programs, bringing in more international experts’ advice and advanced experience, and help China’s pension projects achieve a more proactive development and become the benchmark of international pension programs.
2014年10月，她与Steven Rockefeller Jr.合作成功在纽约Germantown举办了中国文化艺术国际行第一届展览。她希望为中国文化艺术与世界文化艺术的交流与沟通搭建一个平台，将持续在世界不同国家和地区举办各种形式的巡展和交流，在西方主流社会推广中国艺术。
In Oct., 2014, Ms. Gong successfully held the first exhibition of China Culture& Art International together with Mr. Steven Rockefeller, Jr. in Germantown, NYC of America. She hopes to establish a platform for Chinese culture and art’s exchanges and communications with the world cultures and arts. They will hold continuous various exhibitions and communications in different countries and places, to promote Chinese culture and art in the Western mainstream societies.
